OPENING WEEKEND starts Thurday, May 16th

Thursday – Captains Meeting @ 6:00 pm.  Registration for Larry Coggeshall and Three Bays Spin/Fly Tournments

Friday – Youth Striper Night, 5:00-8:00 pm.  No cost for this event.  Bring your children or grandchildren.  Kids fish from Crosby docks.  Food truck with chowder, hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches & desserts will be there.

Saturday – Larry Coggeshall Season Opener, 6:00 am – Noon.  Weigh-in 12:00 – 1:00 pm.  Winner will be boat with heaviest combo of two fish – striped bass or blue fish (2 striped bass, 2 blue fish or 1 of each).  Winner will receive 1/2 of the total registration fees collected for the day.  Must weigh two fish to win.  This is a Sellars Eligible Tournament.  Cost is $100/boat.

Sunday – Three Bay Spin/Fly Tournament, 6:00 – 10:00 am.  This is a catch and release tournament.  Anglers keep track of bass & blue fish released.  Winner with most releases in spin or fly division receives bragging rights.  No registration fee for this tournament.

OAC 25th Anniversary Cocktail Party, May 25th @ 6 pm

OAC Derby 2013

The Tournament Committee has set the dates for this year’s derby:  July 1^st – October 19^th.  In addition, we will continue with no registration fee.  All OAC members in good standing will be considered participants in our derby. There will be a youth division (15 and under) and an adult division. In the adult division, there will be a 9 lb. minimum for bluefish and a 15 lb. minimum for striped bass. There will once again be a total of 9 species in the derby: Bluefin Tuna, Shark (Porbeagle, Mako & Thresher), Striped Bass, Bluefish, Black Sea Bass, Fluke, False Albacore, Bonito & Spanish Mackerel. More details will be out in the middle of June.
