Osterville Anglers Club Weekly E-News — June 17th, 2012

Don’t miss the next great OAC Social — the New Member and Season Kickoff Party — this Saturday night, June 23rd, from 6pm – 9:30pm at the Club.

Dinner includes pistachio encrusted Haddock, pancetta stuffed Chicken, a mixed green Salad with Strawberries and roasted Almonds and other sumptuous delights.  BYOB …. setups with be provided.  Our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful OAC Activities Committee volunteers Diane Richardson and Kathy Low among others and our Committee Chairwoman Missy McGraw; their help makes this and other OAC socials memorable occasions for all.

Please plan to attend and RSVP by no later than  noontime tomorrow, Monday, June 18th so we can give ‘Chef’ at Sea Street Cafe a final headcount.

Next Tournament — Barnstable Youth Hockey

Save the Date – Thursday, June 28th is the Barnstable Youth Hockey Fishing Tournament and our next Sellars tournament.

Location: Baxter’s Fish & Chips, Pleasant Street, Hyannis. The Captains Meeting will be Weds., June 27th at Baxter’s –6:00pm.

Thresher Takes 1st & 2nd at Annual Havlicek Tournament

Team Thresher headed to the Vineyard last weekend for the annual Havlicek tournament — and took 1st and 2nd Bluefish, with 11 lb. .77 oz. and a 10 lb. 4 oz. blues.  Congrats to E.J. and his team.  For more info. about the tournament visit their website at www.thegenesisfund.org.
