OAC Update – July 28th, 2014

LADIES SHOAL TROLL

Missy McGraw took 1st place in bluefish for the Ladies Shoal Troll with this nice 12.95 lber. 

This will also put Missy in the 1st place spot for our annual derby.

This past Saturday we held the annual Ladies Shoal Troll tournament to benefit Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.  We had 18 boats and 71 women fishing in the event.  Thanks to member JR Magee for cooking all day, the food was awesome.  Also, thanks to Nancy Magee, Cathy Lewis & Lewis girls, George Scheppler, Steve Bunnell, Dr. Robyn Sachs and her husband Dan and all of our sponsors and participants for making it a great day.  We raised 10K for Making Strides and had a great time doing it.  It was a tough day for the bass fisherman – here are the complete results:

 There were quite a few people asking about the great long sleeve UV shirts and pink camo hats that Missy designed.  We are all out, but can have some more made up and sold at cost.  If you would like to order some, contact Kendra at the club and let her know quantity and size (s). 

The shirts are $20 and the hats are $10.

The next OAC Tournament is the OAC Fundraiser event, Friday August 22.  If you would like to reserve a boat for 4 anglers ($600) or an individual spot for $150, contact Kendra at the club and let her know.  More details will be in the enews this Thursday.
