   Just released, “The Rescue Of the Bounty”, disaster & survival in superstorm Sandy, is the topic of discussion for Mike’s third visit to the OAC. The “Bounty”, a replica of the original that was used in the 1962 movie, starring Marlon Brando, left port and sailed into the heart of a viscous, category II hurricane, in the fall of 2012, resulting in the loss of the ship and her captain.  Mike takes readers through a gripping account of the ship and the storm, and how the USCG put themselves in harms-way to rescue the crew and passengers.

     Join us at 6:00 PM for a delicious dinner of homemade soup/stew,

and all the fixings, prepared by Dave Ryan,

followed by Mikes presentation at 7:00 PM.
