 This past Thursday Dave Ryan cooked up another great dinner. Captain Diogo Godoi from Coastal Charters Sportfishing gave a very informative talk on chasing Bluefin tuna with light tackle. Captain Diogo is part of the “inner circle” of the Cape fleet chasing tuna, with other Captains such as Bobby Rice and Terry Nugent. We had around 20 OAC members there and we were treated some great tips and tricks. The presentation included a nice slide show with a focus on specific tactics and strategies. The bar was covered with tuna plugs, spin gear and vertical jigging set ups. Most members present were taking lots of notes and hopefully the tuna gods will reward us in 2017.
