Party at Sandy Neck

Thank you to John & Mary Lake for hosting the OAC party this past Saturday.   John and Mary Lake not only supplied the venue but prepared all the food.  In addition to world class paella, there was blue fish dip, liver pate and on and on.  Dave Reid organized the event and Cindi Reid did the s’mores over the camp fire.  Dave Ryan donated the oysters and they were fantastic. Diane and Dave Richardson covered everything else that needed to be done.  Vernon Parris was a big hit on the steel drums.  Shuttle drivers were John & Katie Piekarski, Richard Trifone and Dave Reid.  To view a Photo Show of the party, please visit  https://www.photoshow.com/watch/fN4ze4MP

OAC Derby 2013 Update

This past week, Dave Ryan weighed a nice 10+ lb false albacore to move into first for that species and Richard Trifone weighed a 3.3 lb black sea bass, which is good enough for 2nd in that species.  Complete results can be found on our website at  https://www.ostervilleanglersclub.com/oac-derby/

2014 Board of Directors Ballot

The ballot will be mailed tomorrow, October 1st.  This year we have 4 candidates running for 3 open spots on the Board.  Along with the ballot, you will receive a Candidate Profile sheet with a short bio and photo for each candidate.  If you have any questions please contact the Nominating Committee – Bob Lewis, Mary Miller or Scott Swaylik.
