2013 OAC Derby Results

The derby ended this past Saturday at 6 pm. Dave Ryan won the adult division with some real nice fish, including a 42 lb bass and a 15 lb bluefish.  Mikey O’Shaughnessy won the youth division, also with some nice fish, including a 31 lb bass and a 150 lb Mako.  Here are the final results of our derby:

Youth Halloween Party this Friday

October 25th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. 

There will be a prize for best costume, and as always, there is no charge for youth events

Awards Night

Awards night will be on Saturday, November 9th at 6pm and will be catered by Wimpy’s Seafood.  Come enjoy a nice party at no cost for OAC members.  Please RSVP to 508-420-4336 or [email protected] as we need an accurate count for the caterer. 

2014 Board of Directors Ballot Reminder

You should have recently received the 2014 Board of Directors Ballot.  This year we have 4 candidates running for 3 open spots.  Please return your ballot by October 31st.  If you have any questions please contact the Nominating Committee – Bob Lewis, Mary Miller or Scott Swaylik. 

 Henry O reports some nice bass and big bluefish down at the Elizabeth Islands this past week end.
