The Barnstable Youth Hockey Tournament, run by member E.J. Jaxtimer, had 24 boats fishing this past Thursday and raised over $24,000 for the hockey program.  E.J. said this year’s tourney is the most money they have raised for BYH.  Thank you to all that participated.  Here are the results for OAC Sellars:

Member Captain Henry O’Shaughnessy was out at Monomoy all week end running charters for Gaelic Wake Sport Fishing and reports bass in the

 25-27 lb. range and a 13 lb. bluefish.

OAC Derby Begins Today!

This year’s derby:  July 1^st – October 19^th.  There is no registration fee.  All OAC members in good standing will be considered participants in our derby. There will be a youth division (15 and under) and an adult division. In the adult division, there will be a 9 lb. minimum for bluefish and a 15 lb. minimum for striped bass. There will once again be a total of 9 species in the derby:  Bluefin Tuna, Shark (Porbeagle, Mako & Thresher), Striped Bass, Bluefish, Black Sea Bass, Fluke, False Albacore, Bonito & Spanish Mackerel.
