Fly Tying: Changed To Next Saturday Morning at the OAC

Due to Nemo, the monster blizzard! Next Saturday February 16^th, from 8-9:30 am, Captain Dave Peros will be at the OAC for a saltwater fly tying clinic. Coffee and bagels will be served. Please email [email protected] or leave a message at 508-420-4336 if you plan to attend, so we have an idea for fly materials and food.

 

Week 3: Custom Rod Building Next Wednesday at the OAC at 6 pm

The 3rd custom rod building workshop will be next Wednesday February 13th at 6 pm. Feel free to stop in and check out what it’s all about. Members are building both fly and spin rods. There have been some great stories and very interesting to learn how rods are constructed.

 

Boatbuilders’ Show on Cape Cod (Starts Today!)Feb 8^th – 10^th

Located in Hyannis at the Resort and Conference Center (West End Rotary). The show is on!

Friday 2 pm – 7 pm, Saturday 10 am – 6 pm and Sunday 10 am – 4 pm. Lots of great custom built boats and much more. $5 at the door. This will be going on all week end. Sunday looks to be a nice sunny day. If you have never been to this show, it’s like walking through a museum. A great chance to see the incredible talent of local craftsmen. In addition to all the custom built boats, you can check out the latest electronics and gear. Children 12 and under are free!
