Applicants for the Annual OAC-Larry Coggeshall Scholarship

The OAC-Larry Coggeshall Scholarship award was created in 2010 through a very generous donation by one of our OAC members. The OAC awards two $1,000 scholarships to two recipients annually, with first priority given to OAC members’ children and grandchildren. To receive a scholarship application, contact the OAC: [email protected]. Applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee in the coming weeks.

 

Candidates for the OAC 2013 Board of Directors

We need you! The OAC Board of Directors is comprised of 11 members who meet once a month on Monday evenings, and contribute about 12-15 volunteer hours over the course of the year to keep our Club running smoothly.

 

To run for one of the available Board member openings please contact the Nominating Committee members, E.J. Jaxtimer or Bruce Cunningham, and let them know. A U.S. mail election is held each October, with ballots mailed to members on Oct. 1^st; so if you are interested in running please send a photo and 2-3 paragraph bio to the OAC at [email protected]. A little of your time will go a long way in helping to keep the OAC a great Club to be a part of.

 

Richard B Sellars One Day Bass Next Saturday September 22nd

This is the final 2012 OAC Tournament. Fishing will be from 6 am – 2 pm. Weigh in 2pm -4pm and a cook out at 6 pm back at the OAC. The cost is $35 per angler which includes dinner and $15 for non participants at the cook out. Here are the current YTD standings for Sellars points and annual awards:

Due to Popular Demand: Ron Murphy Trip Friday October 5^th

Several members have asked if we can add another trip on board Stray Cat. We have had three OAC trips and all have been very productive. In addition, I have received lots of positive feed back on the good times our members have enjoyed. Just to give you an idea of Ron’s schedule, when I called to book another trip, he said he is booked solid through September. I was able to reserve Friday October 5^th. The cost is $125 per angler.
