OAC Annual Meeting Next Monday July 16th at 6 pm

The BOD would like to update the members on the current status of the club. We will serve chowder from The Islander and member Mike Dwyer will prepare meatball subs. Please RSVP to Patricia by 12 noon this Sunday so we have a head count for food: 508-420-4336 or [email protected]

OAC Members Can Dine At The Islander For A Discount

Owner of the Islander, Joe Dunn, has offered OAC members a 15% discount off the entire bill. This is for OAC members only, so please don’t show up with 10 couples from your neighborhood and ask for 15% off the entire bill, unless of course your neighbors all belong to the OAC!

New Members At Half Price

Just a reminder that after July 1st, membership dues are prorated, so at this point, a family will pay $250 and a single new member will pay $150 for their 2012 dues. The initiation fee is $500 if paid upfront or $300 per year for two years. If you know of someone that may have an interest in joining the OAC, have Patricia mail them an information package and members of the BOD are happy to meet them at the club and show them around.

Commercial Striped Bass Season Opens Today

If you thought the fishing grounds were crowded, you may want to avoid Tuesdays and Thursdays.   The commercial season allows 30 fish per day with a minimum length of 34″. Sundays are also open for commercial harvest, but only 5 fish. Once the limit of a little over 1MM pounds is caught, the season will end.
