Candidates for the OAC 2014 Board of Directors Election
We need you! The OAC Board of Directors is comprised of 11 members who meet once a month on Monday evenings to keep our Club running smoothly.
A U.S. mail election is held each October, with ballots mailed to members on October 1st. To run for one of the available Board member openings please contact the Nominating Committee Chair, Scott Swaylik, or send a photo and 2-3 paragraph bio to the OAC at [email protected]. Optional Nantucket Shootout
Saturday, September 27th
We will have two options for this tournament. Option 1; fish this as a regular tournament and weigh your fish back at the OAC. Option 2; participate that same day in the Nantucket Shootout hosted by Nantucket Anglers Club. Members may choose to head over to Nantucket the Friday prior, fish Saturday the 27th and enjoy a nice dinner at the Nantucket Anglers Club. There are rooms available at The Brant Point Inn for $245/night. Call Thea at 508-228-5442 to book your room (s).
Youth member Nick Swaylik weighed a 58 lb mako for our derby. Also, Sam Jaxtimer weighed a 65 lb mako. Last week the Jaxtimer’s headed south of the Vineyard and caught 4 makos on the trip. This past week end, GW Bridge weighed two bass at 22 and 24 lbs, which move into 2nd and 3rd place
