OAC Safe Boating Course

We are hosting a two night course:

Wednesday, April 2nd & Wednesday, April 9th  from 4-8 pm. 

The cost is $75 per person.  

 This is a state and nationally approved boating safety course, concentrating on the equipment and operating guidelines needed to enjoy boating in a safe and responsible way.  This is a great refresher course for adults and all that are newer to boating.  All graduates in the 12 through 15 year-old age group will be issued a safety certificate allowing them to operate a motorboat without adult supervision, as required by state law. The same is true for 16 and 17 year old youth who wish to operate a personal watercraft (jet ski, wave runner, etc.).  If your child is 10 or 11, they can take the course now and then when they turn 12, take the written exam and receive their license at that time.
